“…How are you able to walk on water?…”
oktober 21, 2007
Once someone asked Jesus
, “How are
you able to walk on water?”
Jesus
replied, “With certainty.”
Then someone said, “But we also have
certainty!”
Jesus
then asked them, “Are stone, clay,
and gold equal in your eyes?”
They replied, “Certainly not!”
Jesus
responded, “They are in mine.”

About Talib al-Habib:
Talib al-Habib (seeker of the beloved) is the pen-name for a popular nasheed artist based in the UK. He began composing spiritual poetry and songs at the age of sixteen, and has continued to do so ever since. Talib’s distinctive style of inshad arises from a ten year childhood association with the Manchester Boy’s Choir, where he received vocal and technical training. In early 2004, he was encouraged to compile a collection of English-language spiritual songs, which has culminated in ‘Songs of Innocence,’ an intensely personal journey into the experiential dimensions of Islam. Since then, he has also released a second album called Rahma, described as an anthology of exquisite nasheeds based entirely on Hadith. He is also an author of three books of Islamic spirituality and ethics. Talib has been a student of the sacred sciences for several years and hopes to one day continue his studies at the classical centers of learning. He currently lives in the West Midlands with his wife and two daughters, where he practices as a Medical Doctor specializing in Psychiatry. Talib al-Habib’s work is produced and distributed exclusively by Nur al-Habib Productions (www.nuralhabib.com) .
Both his Rahma and Songs of Innocence CDs available on the SP Bookstore.
